Software Demos

New! Centroid CNC demonstration software.

Runs on any PC with no CPU7 card required. This demo is a full-function simulation that allows you to see and operate all menus. You can graph G code programs right at your PC. Use the new Intercon software with Interactive Conversational Programming to create conversational programs and generate G code. Install the demo to your laptop or desktop computer and take it for a spin. All menus, features and options in the demo are unlocked so you can get a real feel for the capabilities of the software. Demos are available in both Mill and Lathe versions.

Downloading and installation:

Select the demo below you wish to download. Select to save the file to your hard drive. Once downloaded, locate the saved file and unzip the zip file, extracting the files to a known directory. From that directory, run the INSTALL.BAT file. If you are using ZipMagic and you experience trouble installing the demo, start ZipMagic ZipTools, go to the Options menu, select Preferences, select Applications and make sure that the check box for "MS-DOS prompt sees Zip files as files (not as folders)" is checked.

If you are running Windows 95, ME or 98, the installation software will place an icon on your computer desktop. Click on the icon to start the demo. If you are running Windows 2000, XP or NT, you will need to create a shortcut on your desktop to the executable file. For the Lathe Demo, find the LathDemo directory on your hard drive, right click on the CNC7LATH  file, select Send To, select Desktop (create shortcut). A shortcut to the Lathe demo will be created on your computer desktop. For the Mill Demo, find the CNC7Demo  directory on your hard drive, right click on the CNC7MILL file, select Send To, select Desktop (create shortcut). A shortcut to the Mill demo will be created on your computer desktop. Click on the shortcut icon to start the demo.
