Centroid has made many features Standard that our competitors make an option! For example, How about a floppy drive? $495 on a competitors machine, standard equipment on any Centroid CNC. How about a built in Hard drive? You guessed it...Standard equipment on a Centroid!

Centroid CNC retrofits are available with many excellent options. Many of these options are state-of-the-art and have features not found on any CNC for any cost.

How about a COLOR screen...Standard on a Centroid. An Ethernet LAN connection is $2500 on a competitors machine, on a Centroid M-15,400&T-15,400 it is a standard feature. Also, all Centroid CNC's are Pentium PC based, a standard feature, this is an option on most other brands and for some its not even an available option.

Centroid has time saving money making options at a fraction of the cost on our competitors systems. We can provide you with better equipment for less because Centroid designs and builds as many of its CNC components as possible. Probes, MPGs, CPU's, Amplifiers, Hardware, Software, ....right down to the keyboards! For instance our DP-4 Digitizing option is only $4295 and delivers performance better or equivalent to our competitors systems costing 2 to 5 times as much! We can do this because, Centroid manufactures its own very accurate touch probe and the Digitizing feature runs seamlessly right on the control, no extra computer necessary.

Most optional equipment can be added at any time however it is usually less expensive to add it at the time of the original order mostly due to a savings in labor.

Centroid saves you thousands of dollars by including with the Digitizing option an auto roughing and reversal program called Mold Magic (TM) which saves you from having to buy/use an expensive CAD/CAM system to create roughing and finish passes automatically. Mold Magic will automatically create roughing and finish passes with different sized cutters for any part you have digitized in seconds. Mold Magic will also perform sophisticated mold to plug or plug to mold reversal. So, for example, you can Digitize a Plug and easily create the Mold for that same shape in minutes with Mold Magic! No expensive, hard to use CAD-CAM system is necessary.
